Independent Prescriber Training
IP Training course
In partnership with Teaching Practices, this program is designed to support you in obtaining the competencies, required to gain IP qualifications.
The structure of the programme is as follows:
Candidates will apply to the university of their choice for the IP Course and one of our DMP /DPP will be assigned as your supervising practitioner for the course.
We provide 90 hours of mentorship, spread over a few months required for the course which will consist of a variety of settings and members of the multidisciplinary team.
Trainees receive ongoing support from experienced pharmacists from APCG in terms of regular webinars and a dedicated WhatsApp support group where you can ask any questions they may have.
We will provide you with support post your IP qualification to further enhance your knowledge and skills through accredited courses and mentorship.
The cost of the DMP supervision is £3000.00* ( £3500 for London area) in total and this can be paid in two installments if required. There's a £350.00 retainer fee which is fully refundable if your training doesn't go ahead in any circumstances. Please note that the University fee is not included in this fee.

GP Mentorship Program
If you are looking to develop a clinical role in General Practice or work in Urgent Care and walk in centres and looking to set up clinics in your pharmacy, we have experienced GPs who will offer you Clinical Mentorship for over 3 to 6 months to help you gain required competencies. GP Mentorship Program is suitable for IP Pharmacists, IP Nurse Practitioners, and other allied healthcare professionals (Independent Prescribers).
